Jeremy Harris was a member of the three-man crew aboard Andromeda in the Dragon Class at the 1964 Olympics. Along with Peter Reade and skipper Martin Parry, the three men had enjoyed a successful pre-Olympic year in 1963 when they guided Andromeda to victory in the Salamandar Cup at Poole, the Edinburgh Trophy at Torbay, and the European Dragon Championships in Athens. The trio started off well in Tokyo, and after winning race two moved into the overall lead before slipping to second. They were still second going into race six but a sixth and 18th place in their last two races saw them miss out on a medal in fourth place.
