Christian Maes was a Belgian sailor who competed at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Maes and compatriot Joël Roland sailed in the Flying Dutchman event with the pair finishing in 23rd place out of 30 teams. His father André competed in the same event at the 1960 Roma Olympics.
