Biography

Earl Taylor was a lifelong sailor, but the pinnacle of his career came at the 1962 Central American and Caribbean Games, where he won silver in the Snipe class. He was then selected to represent Jamaica in the Dragon class at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where he finished 23rd and last with Barton Kirkconnell and Steven Henriques. He had earlier represented the British West Indies at the Pan American Games. Career-wise, he first worked in sales in the aviation industry, before moving to Canada and taking up a job as a municipal employee. He eventually moved to Florida and worked in local government, before retiring and settling there permanently.
