Biography

Long-distance runner Helmut Perz was Austrian 10,000 metres champion in 1952. He was elected for that year’s Helsinki Olympics and competed over 5,000 and 10,000 metres. In the 5,000 metres he was eliminated in the heats, and was 27th in the 10,000. Domestically, he represented UWK Graz.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 14:52.4 (1952); 10000 – 30:43.0 (1952).
