Biography

Norris Stubbs earned his college degree from Grinnell College in Iowa and then a masters in civil engineering from Columbia University in New York. He settled in the United States, becoming a professor of engineering mechanics in the civil engineering department at Texas A&M, where he worked until his death from kidney failure. His specialty was in structural reliability, structural dynamics, non-destructive evaluation, quality in design construction process, and experimental mechanics.
