Biography

Omer Corteyn was a Belgian sprinter who represented KAA Gent. Corteyn, along with Jules Migeot, Omer Smet, and François Morren, ran in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics, with the Belgian team finishing in sixth place. Corteyn also ran in the 400 metres where he reached the quarter-finals.

Personal Best: 400 – 50.7 (1920).
