Biography

Belgian track and field athlete Dieudonné Devrindt was a five-time national champion in sprinting in the 1930s. During his career Devrindt represented RFC Liège and won three Belgian titles in the 100 metres (1934–36), along with two titles in the 200 metres (1934, 1936). In 1936 he ran the 100 metres in 10.7 seconds, setting a national record that stood until 1938. He ran in both the 100 and 200 metres at the 1936 Berlin Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. Devrindt later became a coach at RFC Liège and the Vice-President of the Royal Belgian Athletics Federation.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.7 (1936); 200 – 22.5 (1934).
