Biography

Brazilian track and field athlete Carmine Giorgi represented Clube Esperia in São Paulo where he specialised in weight throwing events. Giorgi competed in the hammer throw at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, finishing 13th with a best effort of 36.45 metres. He was also scheduled to compete in the shot put and discus throw at the Los Angeles Games but did not start in either event.

Personal Best: HT – 47.00 (1935).
