Qianli Qian was a Chinese-born table tennis player representing Austria at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. He competed in the men’s doubles partnering another Chinese-born player, Ding Yi, but the pair failed to reach the quarter-finals. Qian became a naturalised Austrian in 1988.
Qian played with Sport Union Wolkersdorf / SVS Niederösterreich, winning the Austrian Championships in 2000 and 2001, and also the Superliga. He helped them reach the Champions League final in 2000. Since 2009, Qian played with Ligist Don Bosco in the 2nd Austrian Bundesliga. In 2013, he was appointed head coach of the Austrian national team.
