Biography

Brazilian track and field athlete Domingos Puglisi represented CR Tietê in São Paulo where he specialised as a sprinter. Puglisi was part of the quartet that won bronze in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1931 South American Championships in Athletics in Buenos Aires. His performance earned him a spot at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics where he reached the quarter-finals in the 400 metres. He also ran in the 800 metres in Los Angeles but did not advance from the heats.

Personal Bests: 400 – 48.8 (1932); 800 – 1:56.2 (1931).
