Biography

Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo competed in the discus throw at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He was a versatile weight thrower, winning Spanish titles in the shot put in 1955-56, the discus in 1953, 1955-56, and 1958-60, and the hammer throw in 1956. De la Quadra-Salcedo set seven Spanish records in the discus from 45.91 (1955) to 51.00 (1960) and nine at hammer from 47.24 (1954) to 49.25 (1956).

Personal Best: DT – 51.00 (1960).
