Biography

Moussa Narou N’Diaye was a Senegalese basketball player who represented the national team in the 1960s. N’Diaye played in the basketball tournament at the 1965 All-Africa Games in Brazzaville where Senegal finished second after a narrow loss to Guinea. In March 1968 Senegal was one of the nine teams to play in the African Basketball Championship and won the tournament, beating hosts Morocco in the final. The tournament was used as the qualification route for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics with N’Diaye playing in both events. He played in all nine of Senegal’s matches at the Olympics, scoring 11 points, with the team finishing 15th out of the 16 teams that competed.
