Biography

Miguel Peña was a Spanish track and field athlete who represented CD Fortuna in San Sebastián. Peña competed in long-distance running races and won the national cross-country title in 1922. He finished in 14th place in the cross-country race at the 1924 Paris Olympics, which became infamous for being run on one of the hottest days in Parisian history. The same year Peña set a Basque record in the 10,000 metres, which stood until the following year.
