Biography

Väinö Heikkilä was a Finnish long-distance runner who represented Liedon Parma. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics Heikkilä finished in 25th place in the cross-country event. Finland won the silver medal in the cross-country team event but only the three-best placed individual runners were awarded with a medal with Heikkilä being the six-best placed Finn.
