Pierre Lacaze was a French high jumper who competed at the 1948 Olympics. He was a junior star, clearing 1.73 metres at age 16, improving to 1.83 at 18, and achieving his personal best of 1.95 when he was 20. Lacaze had a short career, retiring from competition one year after the London Olympics to run the family farm.
