Biography

Erich Ahrendt was eliminated in the javelin qualification round at the 1960 Rome Olympic Games. He became East German champion in the javelin in 1961, and was runner-up in 1955 and third in 1959. Ahrendt later studied medicine and became a surgeon in Berlin-Pankow.

Personal Best: JT – 78.80 (1959).
