Biography

Forward Marco Ferrante played in Serie A for Napoli, Parma, Piacenza, Internazionale, Bologna and Ascoli. However, he was best known during his eight seasons at Torino, when he scored 114 goals in 235 Serie A and Serie B matches, to become one of the club’s all-time top goalscorers. He was the Serie B top goalscorer in 1998/99 season with 27 goals.

Ferrante made his Italy under-21 début in a friendly against Egypt in July 1992. It turned out to be his only international appearance, as he was included in the Italy squad for the Barcelona Olympics shortly afterwards, but did not play.
