Biography

Fritz Bleiweiß did not finish the 1934 European Championships 50 km walk, but four years later he placed fourth in that event at the 1938 Europeans. He earned German titles in the 50 km walk in 1936 and 1940, and the 25 km walk in 1947, adding three runner-ups and third places in each event. At the Berlin Olympics in 1936 he came in sixth in the 50 km walk.
