Biography

Michael Gottschalk was a German middle-distance and cross-country runner who was eliminated in the heats over 1,500 metres at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. In 1995 he won the 1,500 at the German High School Championships, which was his only German national title. Gottschalk later became a sales representative in the running centre of “Long Distance” in Berlin and was the contact for all clubs concerning running equipment and printing of jerseys.

Personal Best: 1500 – 3:36.39 (1996).
