Biography

Very little is known about Arno Hesse, who did not advance to the final of the 1,500 metres at the 1908 London Olympic Games. It is noted that he later became a school teacher and set one German record with the 3x1000 relay in 1906. He retired from active sports in 1909.

Personal Best: 1500 – 4:24.2 (1908).
