Biography

Triple jumper Ralf Jaros was eliminated in the qualifying rounds both at the 1984 Los Angeles and the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Domestically he was German Champion in 1984-85 and 1990-93, and German Indoor Champion in 1984-85 and 1994. At the World Championships he finished ninth in 1991, fourth in 1993, and he placed 12th at the 1990 European Championships. In 1985, 1991 and 1993 Jaros competed at the European Cup, and in 1984, 1985, 1990 and 1994 in the European Indoors. He was educated as an industrial business manager.

Personal Best: TJ – 17.66 (1991).
