Biography

German sprinter Kai Karsten was a member of the 4x400 metres squad at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that failed to qualify for the final. In 1994, he won the national title over 400 metres, and finished third the following year. Karsten won nine international caps, mostly in the 4x400. By profession, he became a graduated engineer.

Personal Best: 400 – 45.95 (1995).
