Biography

Discus thrower Jens Reimers was eliminated in the qualifying round at the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games, as he was at the 1966 Europeans. At the 1965 European Cup he placed fourth. In 1962, 1963, and 1965 Reimers won West German titles, and was runner-up in 1966 and 1968. He later married his teammate and non-Olympian Ursula Bednarczyk.

Personal Best: DT – 61.38 (1967).
