Biography

Georgios Banikas was a Greek athlete who competed in the pole vault. Banikas took part in the 1906 Intercalated Games where he tied for fifth place with four other vaulters. Two years later he competed at the 1908 London Olympics where he tied for sixth place with Sam Bellah of the United States. He returned to the Olympics for the 1912 Stockholm Games but he did not advance beyond his heat.

Personal Best: PV – 3.50 (1908).
