Biography

Katalin Csőke was a weight thrower who competed for Hungary in the discus throw at the 1980 Moskva Olympic Games. Csőke competed for Csepel SC from 1974-99. She was capped 30 times for Hungary between 1977-97, and was a seven-time Hungarian Champion in the discus, winning in 1979, and 1992-97. Csőke was runner-up at the 1975 European Junior Championships. After her sporting career Csőke became a physical education teacher.

Personnel Bests: SP – 13.94 (1977); DT – 63.20 (1980).
