A sprinter, Vittoria Cesarini was one of the fastest Italian athletes at just 20-years-old. Cesarini’s major tournaments were the 1950 European Championships and the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, where she was eliminated in round one of the 100 metres and failed to reach the final of the 4x100 relay.
