Biography

Maddalena Grassano was an Italian sprinter. Born in the Piedmont region, in 1971 she took part in the European Championships in Helsinki in the 4x100 relay, and later that year won a gold medal in the same event at the Mediterranean Games in Izmir. Grassano also competed at the 1972 München Olympics in the relay. She won 14 international caps between 1971-73. Domestically, Grassano won one individual Italian title, in the 200 meters in Roma in 1971.

Personal Best: 100 – 11.8 (1972).
