Biography

Norman Edwards competed for Jamaica at the Olympics but lived most of his life in the United States, growing up in Silver Springs, Maryland, although he had been born in Jamaica. He attended the University of Georgia, competing for them from 1983-86, and placing fourth in the 100 metres at the 1985 Southeastern Conference Meet. After college he worked in the financial industry in the Washington, DC area for over 20 years, but shortly before his death, moved into real estate as a broker with Long & Foster Real Estate in Annandale, Virginia.

Personal Best: 100 – 10.21 (1984).
