Juan Morales was a Mexican track and field athlete who competed in long-distance running races. In 1931 Morales did the double in winning the national title in both the 5,000 and 10,000 metres, with him retaining his 10,000 metres title the following year. This earned him a spot at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics where he finished seventh in the 10,000 metres. Three years later Morales won gold in the 10,000 metres and silver in the 5,000 metres at the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador.
