Miguel Vasconcelos was a Mexican middle-distance runner who specialised in the 800 metres. Vasconcelos was selected to run in the event at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics but finished last in his heat. The following year he made up for his disappointing performance at the Olympics by becoming the national champion with a winning time of 2:01.5. In 1935 Vasconcelos won bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador.
