Biography

Dutch long-distance runner Pieter Gerbrands represented AVAC in Amsterdam during the 1920s. In 1928 Gerbrands became the national champion in the 10,000 metres and defended his title the following year. Also in 1928 he was selected to run in the 5,000 metres at the Amsterdam Olympics but he did not advance from the heats.

Personal Best: 5000 – 15:39.4 (1928).
