Biography

Mubarak Shah finished tenth in the 6 miles and 20th in the 3 miles at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Four years later he finished tenth in the 3000 metres steeplechase and did not finish the 3 miles race at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. He also won four medals at the Asian Games, with golds in the 1958 steeplechase and the 1962 steeplechase and 5,000 metres, adding a silver in the 1958 10K.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 14:27.2 (1962); 3000S – 8:57.90 (1962).
