Arthure Agathine was primarily a triple jumper who competed in that event at the 1980 Moskva Olympics. Agathine was Seychelloise Champion in the triple jump in 1981-83 and 1986. He also won the national title in the long jump in 1981-82 and 1986. Agathine later became an athletics coach. He worked with the Aga Sonix athletics club and was a football referee and played hockey as a hobby.
