Biography

Swedish long-distance runner Thore Enochsson represented IK Ymer in Borås where he specialised in the marathon. Enochsson was the national champion in the event at the 1932 and 1933 championships, where he also finished second on three occasions (1935, 1938, 1939). At the 1934 European Athletics Championships in Torino, Italy, he finished second, two minutes behind Finland’s Armas Toivonen. Two years later Enochsson finished tenth in the marathon at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-40:39 (1933).
