David Guttman was a Swedish long-distance runner who represented AIK. Guttman ran in the marathon at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics but failed to finish in a race that was noted for taking place in extreme heat conditions. Guttman’s life came to a tragic end when he committed suicide by hanging himself.
