Biography

Swedish high jumper Gösta Hallberg represented Örgryte IS in Göteborg. In 1910 Hallberg won the silver medal at the national championships before going on to win gold in 1912. He competed in the high jump at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics where he cleared 1.75 metres in the qualifying round. It was not enough for him to advance to the final with 1.83 metres set as the qualification height.
