Biography

Swedish track and field athlete Göran Unger represented IFK Djursholm. Unger competed in the pentathlon at the 1924 Paris Olympics where he was in eighth following the conclusion of the discus throw. Only the top six athletes progressed to the final event, the 1,500 metres, with Unger therefore not improving on his eighth-place finish.
