Biography

Long-distance runner Jacob Westberg specialised in the marathon, winning four medals at the Swedish championships. Westberg won his first medal at the national championships in 1910 when he finished in second place. He won bronze in 1913, before finally becoming the Swedish marathon champion in 1915, with his final medal coming at the 1919 championships when he won silver. Westberg also ran in the marathon at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics where he finished in 22nd place.
