Sue Rembao was a high jumper who competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. She jumped in college at Cal Poly SLO, winning the 1983 D-2 NCAA Championship, after placing second in 1981-82. She was US Olympic Festival Champion in 1991 and competed at the World Championships in 1991 and 1993. At the USA Championships, she was runner-up in 1991 and finished third in 1992-93. She was ranked in the US top 10 for eight years, with high rankings of #2 in 1991-92. She later went into coaching, serving stints at her alma mater, the University of Arizona, and the University of Texas. Rembao is a member of the Cal Poly SLO Hall of Fame.
