Biography

Irene Robertson was a sprinter/hurdler who competed in two Olympic Games, but failed to make a final in the high hurdles in either 1956 or 1960. She was the AAU 400 metre champion in 1960, and competed in 1960 for the US in a dual meet against Greece. Robertson attended El Camino Junior College and the University of Hawai’i, and represented the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Although born in Batavia, New York, Robertson was raised in London, England.

Personal Best: 80mH – 11.1 (1960).
