Originally from New Orleans, Lloyd Bourgeois was a hurdler/triple jumper for Jesuit College and the University of New Orleans. He competed in the triple jump at the 1928 Olympics but did not make the final. Bourgeois finished that year at the US Olympic Trials to make the team. He later worked as a pipefitter in New Orleans.
