Biography

Henry Brawley represented the St. Alphonsus AA in the 1904 Olympic marathon. His personal marathon best of 3-08:11 was set in finishing 10th in the 1906 Boston Marathon. He later worked as a surveyor for the city of Boston. Brawley married Winifred Leonard in September 1907, and they would have three children, two girls and a boy.

Personal Best: Mar – 3-08:11 (1906).

Previously listed as dying in March 1963, but per SSDI this date belongs to one Harry Amos Brawley from Crawford, Pennsylvania. Per Olympian's wife death notice, the Olympian died before 1957.
