Biography

Emil Freymark competed for the Missouri AC. In addition to placing fifth in the Olympic high jump, Freymark competed in several other non-Olympic, or demonstration, events during the 1904 Olympics. He won three of them, the Irish Olympic Sports high jump, the Western AAU high jump, and the Western AAU handicap high jump. He also finished third in the handicap high jump during the Olympic competition. Freymark was a St. Louis native who worked as an upholsterer.
