Biography

Tim Lewis was a walker who raced the 20 km event primarily, including at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He raced twice at the Pan American Games, winning a silver medal in 1987, and placing eighth in 1991. Lewis competed at the World Championships in 1983, 1987, and 1991. He was third at the 1986 Pan Am Cup, and was ranked 12 times consecutively in the US top 10 (1981-92), ranking #1 in 1985-87 and 1989-91.

Lewis attended the University of Colorado. He later went to work for Digital Corporation, settling in Colorado, where he later worked for Oracle.
