Biography

Bill Reilly, of Penn State and the NYAC, won the AAU steeplechase in 1970. At the AAU Meet he also finished fourth in 1969, fifth in 1972, and sixth in 1968. Reilly won the steeple for three consecutive years (1966-68) at the Penn Relays. In 1968 he was a first lieutenant in the US Marines, stationed at Quantico, Virginia. Reilly graduated from Penn State in 1966. He later went into school administration, specifically dealing with public school district finances in Pennsylvania.

Personal Bests: 1500 – 3:47.0 (1970); 2 miles – 8:59.2 (1966); 5000 – 13:49.0 (1970); 6 miles – 28:19.2 (1972); 3000S – 8:32.4 (1970).
