Biography

John Reynolds competed for the Irish-American AC. It is not known why he was selected for the 1912 Olympic Team as he did not place in any of the selection races that year, although he had multiple top finishes in the years leading up to Stockholm. As a New Yorker, Reynolds was best known for his finishes at the Yonkers Marathon. He won Yonkers in 1910, was second in 1913, third in 1911, and finished eighth in 1909. Reynolds also finished sixth at the 1910 Boston Marathon.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-38:27 (1910).
