Biography

William Rowe won the hammer throw at the 1936 AAU Meet, competing for Rhode Island State. He placed second at the 1936 US Olympic Trials. Rowe became ill in 1937 and died only two years after the Berlin Olympics, from metastatic cancer.

Personal Best: HT – 53.98 (177-1 1/2) (1936).
