Biography

Ernest Weber won six AAU walk titles in 1946-48, including the 12-mile in both 1946-47. Weber was born in Germany but came to the US as a youth. He competed for the German-American AC. Weber was only naturalized as a US citizen in July 1948, shortly before the London Olympics. He died from a kidney disease.

Personal Best: 10kmW – 50:39 (1948).
