Biography

Cameron Wright was a high jumper who competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Wright competed at Southern Illinois University, where he was an All-American five times, and won four Missouri Valley Conference titles in the high jump. He was sixth at the NCAA Meet in both 1993 and 1995. Wright finished third at the 1996 US Olympic Trials to make the team. Wright was named to the Southern Illinois University Hall of Fame in 2011. He later settled in Marion, Illinois and worked as a pharmaceutical representative.
