Biography

Octave Coisy was a track sprinter who competed in the points race and the match sprint at the 1900 Paris Olympics. Coisy also raced at the 1899 French sprint championship and the 1900 World Championships. He raced for Cyclo-Club de Paris in 1899-1900, and was later with VCL and VCBC, competing through at least 1909. He lived in Lyon later in life, and is listed in the Léonore database as having received the Légion d’Honneur but no further details are known.
